A fragrant and delicate high-percentage milk chocolate made from cocoa beans of the Riachuelo plantation in Brazil. The plantation is located in the Bahia region, within the rainforest near the Atlantic Ocean. Here, cocoa trees are cultivated with respect for the surrounding lush vegetation and thrive in the fresh natural environment.
A delicate chocolate with flavors of buttery caramel, red fruit, and fresh notes of licorice. Spicy cocoa softened by milk gives rise to an excellent chocolate, where sweetness blends with pleasant acidity and a spicy, lightly seasoned taste.
In 2021, the Cluizel manufactory introduced a range of new recipes and innovations. In addition to a design change, you can expect intense flavors, high cocoa content, and perfectly processed premium ingredients, which is, after all, the standard for this family chocolate maker.

The family chocolate maker from Normandy in northern France was founded in 1948. It offers a unique range of plantation chocolates, luxurious chocolate tasting sets, and nearly 200 varieties of handmade pralines. Since 1997, Michel Cluizel has systematically sought out exceptional plantations in countries renowned for producing quality cocoa. He establishes long-term relationships with them and pays fair, above-standard prices. This allows him to oversee the first-class quality of the cocoa beans. Regarding ingredients, Michel Cluizel is truly meticulous. He even patented the trademark „Nobles Ingredients,“ which in practice means he uses pure cocoa butter without any vegetable fat additives, cane sugar instead of beet sugar, natural Bourbon vanilla instead of vanillin, does not use soy lecithin, and all products are 100% free from genetically modified organisms (GMO-free).
